Why The Collective
Was Created

While social media fragments into noise and traditional associations serve broad mandates, grant professionals need a dedicated space for deep, collaborative problem-solving and genuine belonging.

The GrantWin Grant Collective aims to fill that gap.

This is where grant professionals talk honestly about country-specific best practices, regulatory shifts, the gray areas no one else explains, and the global career paths that don't exist on any HR org chart.

We're building a different kind of professional support system — one where members learn from each other's stories, accelerate each other's expertise, and lift the whole field as we rise.

You're in a professional community that's experiencing shocks at every turn. Our goal is to ensure you're prepared.

What Makes The GrantWin Grant Collective Different?

The Global Grant Collective is different from traditional professional associations.

We are different because....

We go deep, not wide. We move beyond surface-level skill-building, we develop well-rounded expertise across the full grants lifecycle — acquisition, management, compliance, and growth.

We learn together, not alone. The Collective is built for community-based learning, practical advice, and supportive dialogue — not one-way lectures.

We meet you where you are. The Collective is designed for continuous, multi-perspective, dynamic conversations with and through its members.

We help you see what's next. Whether you're aiming for your first grant role or your next leadership move, we help you map where you want your career to go.

We aim to bring the world into the room. Learn from diverse points of view and geo-specific best practices as you build powerful professional relationships with grant pros around the world.

Who We Are

GrantWin Consulting (formerly Grants Works) is a grant consulting and training firm based in Atlanta, GA that provides pre- and post-award services to support our clients as they find, obtain, manage and comply with grants.

Our staff has a combined 80 years of experience and have obtained and managed over $300 million in public and private sector grants. This includes federal grants from the perspectives of a recipient, subrecipient, and passthrough entity and from 20 local, state, and federal agencies.

GrantWin’s clients include nonprofits, colleges and universities, for profits, and local, state, and federal government agencies.

In 2021, the firm was selected to develop all training content for a federal agency. Since 2021, the training has been accessed by over 4,000 participants around the world and is consistently rated 4.7 out of 5 stars by 1,019 participants as of April 2026.

We've hosted over 40 webinars on everything from 2 CFR 200, grant-funded procurement, grant accounting, single audits and more.

Now we're bringing all of that experience - and the global community we're building around it - into one collective.

Meet Our Founder

Patrice Davis, MS, CGMS

When my son was entering junior high and my daughters were still in elementary school, I paused my career to shift to part-time work. After 10 years in marketing, I became a 20-hour-a-week grants manager at Jerusalem House (now Status:Home).

After 6 years in that role, other positions included:

  • Grants Compliance Officer with The Carter Center

  • Public Health Analyst at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)

  • Research Program Manager at Georgia Tech

  • Senior Director of Federal Grant Compliance for Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

I started Grants Works (now GrantWin) to focus on post-award management and compliance — and we've grown to provide pre- and post-award consulting and training for organizations of every size. I even served as a fiscal consultant on state agency monitoring visits.

So, when I say I've seen grants from several angles, I mean it.

But that's not enough. I want to create a space for both grant writers and grant administrators, for sponsored research administrators, for early career grant pros, and, yes, for grant pros in the US, in Europe, Africa, the Caribbean—everywhere this work happens.

The GrantWin Grant Collective does not replace associations you already belong to. We augment them.
